The
Entrepreneur Program seeks to attract experienced businesspersons
that will own and actively manage businesses in Canada
that will contribute to the economy and create jobs.
To
be eligible to apply for Permanent Residence in Canada
in the Entrepreneur Category:
- Entrepreneur
must demonstrate business experience, through management
and control of a qualifying business of sufficient
size.
- Must
have minimum net worth of CN$300,000. The investor's
net worth need not have been created by his/her
own efforts, but must have been legally obtained
(ex. Gift, Inheritance, etc.).
After
an individual receives Canadian Permanent Residence
as an Entrepreneur,
he/she will be required to establish that, they owned
and operated a qualifying Canadian business, for a
period of at least one year within a period of not
more than three (3) years after landing
